Disney 1

We both kind of slept in this morning, and we were afraid we were wasting our day, but I’ll tell you what, it was so bloody hot and muggy down there, that I almost died even on a partial day. We walked over to the Skyview aerial tram and took it over to Epcot. We started in France and walked around quite a bit, getting a little gelato at one place. They were having a wine and food festival, where you can go around the world and try different things. The only problem is, 1) we weren’t hungry and 2) you don’t know what anything is, so ordering expensive foot items from all over that were unknown didn’t seem appealing. Last time we were there we drank our way around the world, but I don’t do that any more. I already had a headache the night before from dehydration, and I’d bet $100 it’ll happen tonight too, so didn’t need to pile alcohol on top of sweating to death in the sun most of the day too. lol But we enjoyed walking around the world, seeing the different countries, watching Japan do a drum show, etc.

From there we took the Friendship Boat over to Hollywood. Here we hit the rides. Tower of Terror, Aerosmith’s Rock’n’Roller Coaster, several Star Wars rides including the Resistance (which was cool) and the Millennium Falcon, which, as I said on FB, Steve and I ended up being the pilots for, and did an awful job overcorrecting on the controls, going all over the place. I needed to try that again. Ha.

Each ride we went on, we had a “Club 33” pass for. So you take your hotel key and scan it, and you go to the front of the line. Almost no waiting, walking past folks standing in line for hours, unlimited number of rides, no having to figure out what time to get there, unlike the normal Fast Passes. It’s a totally spoiling way to do this. No hot long lines. Just scan and go in and ride and move on to the next. Unreal! Super cool.

Then tonight we met up with Kevin and crew for dinner at the House of Blues, at Disney Springs, and enjoyed that too. This is all short because I’m tired, Steve’s asleep, I need to go to sleep, and hope for the best on getting a good night’s sleep this time. Tomorrow we hit Magic Kingdom and one ride we missed at Epcot. This sure makes all the difference on enjoying Disney or not. The normal people way to do it is not nearly as cool. ;)

Oh, we’re walking along and Cathy texts Steve that she’s on her way and will be here by 5-6 pm. Steve’s like…doh! He thought that was next weekend. So he called her to tell her that we’re in Florida but she knows where the house key is and to help herself.  Lol  They’re here visiting Lon’s mom in the nursing home. Oops!

It called us “hot shot”s, but I think it’s a joke. We were terrible.
