Ugh

Woke up early, checked the weather. We probably could have actually made it, but what a mess of a weather day.  Wind shear, blowing snow, heavy rain, low IFR, gusty crosswinds.  I could have stayed below most of the ice.  Chicago shut down for awhile because of the weather up there, and the airport I was going into shut down all but one runway, which only had medium braking action and almost 40 knot winds.  Up to 45 knots around here, crosswind, driving rain to minimums, etc.  Fortunately Andy said let's just go Sunday.  Unfortunately, Sunday is supposed to be -15 to -20 windchills and sub zero temps.  Fortunately I felt like crap today. I woke up with my stomach hurting so badly I thought I might throw up. I didn't, but I felt like that all day.  Had more intestinal issues too.  Had a great dinner last night, a filet, parmesan potatoes, great salad, everything was fine. When I got home I had a small 1/3 piece of leftover hummingbird cake, and I think maybe the cream cheese from that didn't set so well. Or something.  Because I woke up with serious problems and I've spent the whole day recovering and unable to eat anything, or drink anything more than a partial bottle of water.  I'll rest up again tomorrow and Sunday I have a frigid, wintry, difficult day to Michigan and Wisconsin and back.  Monday out to get the Conquest, or Tuesday, and Wednesday Orlando.  No more stomach things hopefully!
