I got out the POH and was reading up on several emergencies that we didn't cover in the initial training. Any time you're low time in a more complex airplane it's a good thing to keep reading and studying and staying on top of things, especially if you fly a lot of different complex airplanes with different systems and procedures.
Kaylee stopped in to visit today, she had today off so she had a gyno appointment, came home to nap, and tomorrow she works from 6 am to 10 pm. That is one long ass day. She told the people there that her parents don't want her working there while that psycho kid is still allowed to be there. She asked if I cared that she said that, and I said no, if it helps them decide to not let that kid stay, I'm fine with that if you are. It's not that I don't want her working there, I don't want that kid living with her, and like I said, if she gets hurt, there's gonna be something to pay.
I got all the ingredients for peach crepes today. Tomorrow I deliver Steve up to Oshkosh, and then I'm gonna come home and make those things in the afternoon/evening.
I feel rather bummed out, heck, even my workers Cameron and Morgan are going up there now, and I don't even have flights most days, but I can't leave because of the days I DO have flights. So I'm planning the trip tomorrow to drop them off at Oshkosh in the morning, then I'll get back here before the storms move in, and then Glenn needs me to do rides in BOB on Friday and Saturday at DuBuque because Dave Rutter's drug test hasn't come back yet, and then I have a quick flight on Sunday at some point, then I have several days off, and Ethan offered to go up to Oshkosh on Monday with me, but just flying up for the day and flying back out that afternoon just sounds tiring at the moment, and not going to the camp site, visiting friends, etc. Then I have another quick trip Wednesday, then a very long day on Friday going to TN and back and Colorado and back. Then I get up Saturday morning early and go to Oshkosh, spend the night for one night, and come back to Terre Haute on Sunday with the WASP T-6. So that's still the plan for now. Meanwhile, Cathy comes in at some point on Friday to take care of Ann, hopefully not too late as I'll be gone.
Steve is packing right now so he can be ready to go for tomorrow morning's trip to OSH, where he'll be for 11 days, on vacation.
