The Mondays

Nothing new, nothing exciting. In fact, we're coming up on that time of year where I feel like I'll just be posting to say "Yep, we're all still alive".  Hopefully.

We had two students go on checkrides today. The first was Jerry's student, and he did not pass. The second was Spencer's student, and she did pass, fortunately.  I flew with Ana in the RG for her first time in that plane. We were supposed to fly in the 172 but there was a scheduling snafu, as it was busy on two checkrides. Ana drove 90 minutes to get here, and had no plane. So we went in the RG instead and it went fine.

Steve and I went and picked up the Corvette from its cleaning. I stopped by CVS and picked up drugs, and tried to go to Julianno's to pick up some good BLTs.  We can now add Julianno's to the list of restaurants that are closed on Mondays.  Chinese, Harvey Hinklemeyer's, Pastarrific, a steak place, and now Julianno's. What, do these people think we don't need to eat on Monday's too or something?  :p  So I stopped and got some gyros instead. Fine.

I've been doing some more stretching and walking, and am slowly gaining a little more flexibility and a little less knee pain.  So that's pleasing.

I was supposed to go on a trip with Ethan on Wednesday, then leave Thursday to go to TN with him for 340 recurrent training, and be gone Thursday and Friday.  Ethan came back from Hawaii sick, and has a double ear infection and a sinus infection and cannot fly.  He about died coming down in the plane from Hawaii, and I can imagine.  I KNOW that hurts.  So now I'll have a MBros trip on Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday I may be going down to TN by myself to get mine done, so somebody will be legal to fly his plane. But first I have to pick up his plane from Ft Wayne. I've got students all day tomorrow, and the weather doesn't look good, and a trip all day Wednesday, and I was supposed to leave at 6 am Thursday. So I have a few problems to work out, figure out.  Plus the weather down there doesn't look so hot either.  So lots of messes.  One thing at a time, and as always, we shall see.

We don't have our tree up yet either. I need people to come to my house and set up this Christmas stuff, man.  I like having it up, I just don't like carting all the boxes in and putting it up. Or down.  Bah Humbug.  ;)
