Columbus

I was supposed to fly the Purdue Coach last night too, but the weather was nasty enough that while it was doable, it wouldn't have been enjoyable. I gave him the option and he said 'naw'.  So I stayed home instead, in comfy pants, and had hot chocolate, and listened to the 40 knot winds howl outside, and that was just fine by me.

This morning we were supposed to fly on a cross country, but the winds were still up over 35 knots at a good crosswind, and Steve doesn't want the RG going out in that. So we waited until after lunch when the winds died down some, and then Morgan and I went to Columbus, IN. She's getting pretty good!  We're going to do her long cross country next and then move into checkride prep.

Steve and I are having dinner and watching TV and then maybe I'll watch part of the Purdue game tonight, as it's a Big 10 game against Michigan, and I think Purdue is the underdog, and I've been flying the coach around lately, so I'm slightly interested, but not interested enough to watch the whole thing. Maybe just the end.  ;)

I think I mentioned Steve has found a company to work with to provide care help with Ann on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-2, just for hygiene.  We'll see how it goes. I don't think it'll be fun or will go smoothy, but...I can hope.

The cat is still doing okay. She ate fairy well today after not eating at all last night.  I think she intentionally drives us nuts.

Flying along.
