Malden, MO

We "fell back" an hour, which is the easiest version of this in the mornings, anyway.  I slept in and woke up at a reasonable hour still, then drove down to Frankfort after lunch to go with Ethan in the 340 to Malden, pick up his Cherokee, and bring it home.  We had nasty headwinds on the way down. I actually went faster in the Cherokee on the way home than in the 340 on the way down.

I was sitting in the running plane when I saw the cobweb, and the dangly little spider hanging from it.  Not cool.  Fortunately it was a skinny one, not a fat hairy one, so I was able to just fly home with it rather than landing immediately and making someone else get it out of there for me.  I sure wasn't going to swat at it and risk it disappearing on me in there. So I left it alone, it left me alone. I did tell Ethan that it was still in there because I'm not touching it.  lol

Beautiful warm weather, flew over the top of Cape Girardeau, and Lawrenceville, and right by the first place I had a job, in IL. Lots of kind of wild memories every time I see those places.  Weirder thinking of the me then.

Pretty warm sunny day in MO
