Quickly

It's already 10:30 and I have to get up early tomorrow for a couple of things, so I'll just make this one quick and factual.

I had a glass of white wine at dinner last night, started sneezing like crazy, eyes started watering.  I woke up at 4 am with a Headache, which I took a half sleepy helper for.  Went back to sleep for awhile and when I woke back up I still didn't feel great most of the day, ended up taking a half of a non-sleepy helper too, to finally kick it.  It's been about a month since the last one, so that's better than before lately, but I do wonder if I triggered it with the wine or it was coincidental.  I have to be up early tomorrow so hopefully I don't do the "two in a row" thing.

Kaylee has had a perpetual headache for weeks, maybe a month. They are worse in the morning, and get a little better later but rarely go completely away.  Excedrin, nothing really takes them away. She saw the doctor who prescribed her Imitrex.  She tried it, it didn't really help, she waited the suggested two hours and took it again, it helped a little.  The end of the day she took a third when the headache came back, and ended up with overdose symptoms even though it was prescribed for as much as 200 mg and she'd only had 150.  Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, faintness, flushed, low heart rate.  She was miserable. I made her call the doc office again and tell them that Imitrex is not the solution to her problem and we need to figure out what the problem IS with her, because it's not a migraine, or a typical one.  She also has had chronic fatigue for a long time. Part of that is low iron levels.  The rest?  I don't know.  So I had her call Friday morning and tell the nurse about it to ask the doc, and they never called her back. I told her to call back around 2:30 to poke them or they'd be gone until Monday.  They never called, she didn't want to call back, now she goes off to Ohio and will just have to keep dealing with it awhile longer.

We had the Bonanza formation clinic today, and other than me having a headache all day, it was fun. Steve and I went up flying in the Champ, and he did the landings from the back seat, did a nice job.  Later in the day I went up twice more and did a bunch of takeoffs and landings. By then the weather had cooled off and it was so nice up there.  Then we sat around in a circle and talked and watched the sun set from the hangar.

Tomorrow is Isabel's checkride, and we're going to do a formation photo shoot with the T-6, maybe BOB, and 4 Bonanzas.  We shall see how it goes.

Tomorrow Kaylee leaves for Ohio for 3 days for training. She's nervous and excited and nervous.  I think she'll do great.
