Christmas Eve Eve

Kind of a weird year, doesn't really feel like Christmas, though I think I might say that every year, I don't know!  I ended up going to the store today, and I couldn't find everything I needed, but I ran out of the ability to be in public any more after three stops.  It's chaos out there, and down every aisle I was tightly following and tightly followed by someone.  You couldn't stop and look for stuff, and I don't like people following right behind me tightly.  It makes me tense.  More than once I stopped and let someone just pass me, but another one was right there.  I still need three things.  The horror of it is I think I'll have to go to Walmart to get them.  Kroger and Meijer are NOT keeping up with demand on stocked items, and Walmart is.  So be it.  But man.  Walmart on Christmas Eve tomorrow.  Uncle.  I'm wearing my ear buds, and not a lot of layers, because I get so hot and smothered when I get bothered.

The winds and weather took out any flying today for sure, for anyone.  The weather says it'll be like that until at least Saturday.  I'm going to see if Saturday afternoon I can take up Cameron in the Aerostar, if I can get someone to help me get it out of the hangar.  Our tug is at Mark's getting repaired, and our back-up tug is apart getting repaired, so someone needs to be able to use a tow bar and help me pull it out by hand.  It's only 6000 lbs, no problem.  ;)

Kaylee and I wrapped presents tonight, and they're under the tree now.  Roadie seems concerned.

I got a calendar in the mail today from the photographer that went up with us to shoot the three C-45s together.  The pic he took of just me and Jordan turned out really well, and it ended up in the month of May for an aviation parts company calendar.  So that's nice.  I've been the photo ship for several calendar shots and photo shoots, but this is I think the first time I've been the subject of the photo shoot and ended up in a calendar.  So, that's fun.  :)

So that's about it around here for today.  Probably close to bed time here...
