We've just been working on getting stuff done around the house. I've gotten a couple of returns ready to go to the post office, responded to some work correspondence, hit the housework and got that pretty well caught up, Steve's been doing a little decluttering here and there, which is always good, and we've gotten the Christmas boxes back out of the garage and inside, and will be slowly working our way towards taking down Christmas. It would be easier to leave it up year round, but that doesn't seem very festive. Of course we're not always very festive. But it also seems lazy. Okay, it IS lazy. We can't be that lazy. So, it shall come down. Soon.
Kaylee hasn't made it back from Chicago yet, but she will be here sometime today. Hopefully she had fun. Here are a few of the photos she sent me yesterday:
Kaylee, her friend A, and A's Mom & Dad's feet on the clear "glass" floor of the Observation Deck at the former Sear's Tower. Steve would LOVE this. :D
View of Chicago
Doesn't that look fun? Clear view all the way around?
See, everything looks better from on high, even Chicago.
Hey, is that what used to be Meijgs Airfield over there? :(
