TGIF

We're going to get down to 19 degrees tonight. Nineteen. That's just wrong!

This morning Nathan needed to take an airplane over to Muncie, so I went over in the Baron to pick him up. I didn't fly over by Glenndale, but I made up for it by having a little fun on the way over. It's the first time I've flown the Baron in ages, so I decided to put it through some paces and enjoy. Nathan flew the leg home and we enjoyed the same kind of trip home as I did on the way over, with a twist. It was a pretty day, cold but pretty in the morning, and it felt good to get out and have some fun with it. The rest of the day clouded over and turned gray, but for a little while I got what you see. :)

When I got home after lunch and several errands, I pulled out a needle and thread, and I sewed up a tear in Deenie the Elf so she could make her appearance for the year. Last year Kaylee was really bothered by the tear in Deenie's pants, and said she hoped it was fixed when Deenie went back to the North Pole. Well, she got her Christmas Miracle after all. I sewed. Successfully. Do you hear the angels sing? ;) (Photo of Kaylee spotting Deenie)

What do you think? Was Kaylee happy when she got home from school and found her little visitor?
