Today...

Today's assignment was a dual long IFR cross-country to Kentucky. I left the house at 9:30 and didn't get home until 4:30 and the flight itself was only about 4 hours. It was just one of those days where things wouldn't go smoothly no matter what. I didn't get back in time to fly with my second guy, and my cell phone battery died, which left him standing there for too long waiting for me, which I hate. By the time I got home I was glad to quit acting upbeat and just let my hair down.

Steve and Kaylee steam cleaned the carpet today, repeatedly, and it's looking pretty good back here. They also brought in all the Christmas decorations so we can try to spiffy up around the house for the holidays maybe tomorrow...
