Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th may not be over yet but so far it's been a "lucky" day. Everyone is healthy, warm, fed and safe. I had two flights (chief & 180) on a pretty day and we all lived to fly another day. :) Then when I got to Glenndale for lunch, I had a package waiting...my cell phone! I'd gotten it off the internet inexpensively. I took it to the Verizon store before my second flight of the day, got it unlocked, activated and all my contacts switched over in a matter of minutes and was on my way with my shiny titanium LG Voyager in hand. Buttons I can actually see! I have so missed my phone. I didn't have any photos on it, so on my way home from work tonight there was a lovely sunset behind an American flag; I stopped my car in the middle of the area, snapped the photo, and set it as my wall paper. Lovely. :)

Okay, one bad thing happened today. I was eating a frozen Twix bar tonight when I felt something really hard I was trying to chew on, and once I realized it wasn't part of the Twix bar and spit it out, I found a good-sized chunk of a tooth. That dumb tooth I broke as a kid with Gobstoppers that has since been capped, the tooth next to it crumbled a long time ago and was repaired, and tonight I just lost the other side of that tooth. It's a little bit jagged and feels weird on my tongue, but for the Good News Game, it does not hurt (yet) and it's not so sharp that I'll cut the inside of my mouth (I don't think.) For the Bad News Game, it's Friday Night and there's no way to get into the dentist until who knows when, but at least not before Monday.
