Belly of the Beast

I woke up this morning in time to race through the shower, put my makeup on in the car, and arrive at the airport 10 minutes early so I could get the T-6 out and ready for my rescheduled flight lesson in it. Unfortunately Mother Nature decided that she would not cooperate again, and after I got there the ceilings dropped down again, and I waited and waited for them to rise enough for the customer to be able to fly up here and us be able to actually go up and do something. We called it off until the afternoon in an attempt to let things get better, which gave me time to run out to some errands and get some food. Finally the skies lifted enough, the customer launched for Kokomo, and I took another trip out. We were out there for just over three hours total with the ground work and the flight, and it ended up being a nice day to fly. Besides, any day flying-or in this case mostly riding in-the T6 is a good day. Once I get my cellphone out of the belly, it will be an even better day. ;)
