Briefly

My flying (instructing that is) this week has been cancelled due to an unfortunate and untimely maintenance issue, and Kaylee's swim lessons don't begin for another week, so most mornings this week went from booked up again to...not.

Congratulations are in order to Mr. Trey Carroll, who soloed a T-6 today for the first time! At 18, he's got to be one of the youngest around to do so, and it's quite an opportunity and accomplishment. It couldn't happen for a finer guy, and I'm very pleased for him. :)

Tonight Steve has a board meeting at one place, I have a school board meeting at another, and Ann's sister and brother-in-law are up here visiting from Florida too. Tonight is also the 10-year-anniversary of Devon's death. As I have said before, it seems hard to believe that ten years have passed, and yet in another way it seems like a whole other lifetime ago...
