Accomplished

Busy week! Another flight, today to Frankfort for 1.2, and it was a nice pretty day for it. Of course as the day progressed, the air got that variable bumpy turbulence it's been doing lately in the afternoon. We had lunch out at the hangar today, as Ernie arrived right on time in the 172 from Missouri. He got to ride in the back seat with two strangers up front for three hours, one of them a new student-I'll bet he had fun. :D

After lunch I took the Citabria over to Muncie to pick up some things for the Baron, and it was decidedly not a smooth flight any more. Yet I still enjoyed opening the window wide and bumping above the corn fields. Back to Kokomo to deliver what I had, then back to Glenndale to put her away and run to get Kaylee out of "after care".

Tonight was Kaylee's end-of-year Awanas ceremony. It's her last year as a "Spark". Sparks goes for 3 years and they have three books full of sections and verses to memorize. Kaylee finished her second book this year, and then did the whole third book as well, so she earned a big ribbon for book two, a pin for participating in the Sparks-a-Rama games, and a plaque for having completed book three and thus all three Sparks books. Her grandma & grandpa made it back in time to get to come too. We're all proud of her. :)

I took a few photos, but not many at the church because she ended up in the back of the pack and I couldn't even see her back there. But I did get some which you can see here. Next year she goes to T&T, which is the group for 3rd-6th graders, and she's excited about that. For one thing, she gets a green shirt instead of a "silly" vest as she calls it, and that is much more fitting of her personal fashion sense. ;)

She's growing up fast!
