Nothing Special...

I woke up with a few sore muscles and hair that wouldn't comb out easily even with an extra dose of conditioner. Good ole T-6. :o)

While some of my muscles are pleasantly sore thanks to the manhandling one has to do at times in the T-6, a few others are sore thanks to some exercise I've been doing on the side. Nothing too exciting, don't worry, but the last couple of weeks I've been working on improving some stamina/strength areas. I'm starting to notice a difference, actually.

Steve and Kaylee slept in her "tent" in the front room last night, and woke up and made eggs for everyone for breakfast. Well, Kaylee did have a brownie or two first. They hung out outside with a fire and the cats, until Dulce got a little too much wild in her and quit listening to where she wasn't supposed to go. They were going to go hiking today, but Kaylee just wasn't feeling up to it today.

Kaylee asked me why I ate the center brownie out of the pan, and I said "because it's the gooey-ist!" Then we got into a discussion as to why the edges of something bake crispier than the center of something. She always turns questions into science lessons-she is a very curious girl. And that's a good thing!

Tonight Steve was asking her if she would take care of him when he got "old" and couldn't do it himself. She eewed and told him no way, and even when she was reminded that he changed her diapers and cleaned/cleans up plenty of her gross messes, her response was "I was a baby, I didn't know, I couldn't help it!" Then she informed us that she would pay for a nurse, and I think her exact words were "I would pay money; I would pay good money for someone else to do that." So we know where we stand. ;)

I'm not sure I'm ready for the next week to begin already, but since I don't have much choice, I guess I'll enjoy the rest of this evening and go from there. :)
