Quickly

When he can, Steve likes to take Sundays and make then Daddy/Daughter days, and all three of us enjoy it. Kaylee loves the undivided attention, Steve likes getting to spend time with his favorite 8-year-old girl, and I like the day to do whatever I wish or don't wish. :) They played outside for a long time today, and even took Dulce out to play outside. I tried to get Roadie to go outside too, and she practically ran over me to get away from the open door. That's one kitty that does NOT like the great outdoors. They had some chairs set up outside, sitting in the warm sun, playing ball, fixing a few things, and just playing.

I fixed "Messy Cheese Sandwiches" for lunch, a tradition from my own childhood. Extra crispy bacon, melted colby jack cheese on top on lightly toasted bread. Cardiac arrest on a plate, perhaps, but it's a rare treat. :)

I watched several movies today, but I'm being a good girl and avoiding providing commentary on my opinions of their themes/messages, to spare you. In fact, I'll even spare you my opinion on a couple other news things today, and I'll just say it was a lovely quiet relaxing family day, and I hope your weekend was as restful and rejuvenating as ours. :)
