Oh Goodie, More Snow!

Well, it's just supposed to be another inch or two tonight, but still...this feels like the Winter that Will Not Die. It was 15 degrees when I got up this morning. That's just not right.

Kaylee and I had to get up early this morning, as Kaylee had a project that she had to have finished by today for school, and she'd already stayed up late the night before working on it too, and the day before that. She was in a great mood to be woken up early and forced to think and write and read before the sun came up. ;) Actually, she did very well. We got everything done in a timely manner, so all is well.

I spent the morning on the phone and email working on something, then we all had an early lunch at a Mexican place, which I found ironic since I had Mexican for dinner last night too, and other than that haven't had Mexican in months. After lunch, Steve, Chuck, Nathan and myself got in the Baron to go to Muncie, but it was the Flight that Had Difficulties. The fuel truck was broken, so we had to taxi to the pump and do it that way. Then we get fueled up and fired up, and as we were doing the run-up, I noticed that both alternators were showing zero. Then Nathan says "Well, we're not going anywhere." as he notices it too. So we taxi back to the hangar, shut down the plane, I tug it into the hangar, we shut the door, turn up the heat so he can work on it...and it's something really simple. Tug it back out, shut the door again, yadda yadda, but we were finally on our way. It was a good day for it though; with all those people and the sunshine and the heater, it was downright warm in the plane. Although I did wonder if Mexican food was the best choice for a crowded space. ;)

We got back in time for me to run and pick up Kaylee, take her room to get her gymnastics outfit, then take her there. She's trying to climb the rope to the top of the gym, but she informed me that she is scared of the heights. I told her to just do her best. I'll push some things, and I don't think she IS afraid of heights, but I'm not going to try to force that one...

I did a few errands, stopped at Glenndale because it had been so long since they'd seen me, and finally headed home for the Evening Routine of homework, dinner, etc.

Nothing too exciting. I've got some work to do tonight on the computer, if I don't get too fuzzy. :)
