It ended up being so much more chill than I was thinking. I flew from the front, it was easy going and relaxed, we just did the normal run-through stuff and some takeoffs and landings, I went and then he went and we were up like 1.3. Went back to his hangar and did the paperwork, and as soon as HQ reviews and approves it, I'll be back and "Green" in RallyPoint and able to do CAF T-6 checkouts, sign-offs, and Nella flights again. Which will be nice.
It was a beautiful day for it, too. Severe clear, cool but not cold, light winds, bright Fall sunshine.
When I got back, I topped off the 340 at Kokomo's self serve pump (which is really messed up by the way, all "on" spraying all over, and Morgan pulled up. She's been gone on a trip to FL with John in the King Air 200 the last two days, and she was finally free of him and saw me headed for OKK so stopped in on her way to her parents house to celebrate the end of her enslavement to him in the King Airs. We chatted for a few minutes while I put the 340 away, and then she headed to her house and I to mine.
Steve and I got Outback for dinner, watched the last half of a movie called "The Fix" that we had to go to bed before finishing last night, and the latest episode of "Slow Horses" while doing laundry, cleaning up the kitchen and taking out the trash, adding my 19th T-6 that I've flown to my little Notes List of them, updating CAF and my logbook, and doing other such things, before tonight's shows of "Marshalls" and "Tracker" come on. A good Sunday, had by all.
