I saw and was forced to order a Wisconsin Kringle that was "Easter Chocolate Cream". This time I actually cooked it in the oven first, and it was divine. I mean IS divine. I didn't eat that whole thing, just two pieces. Put some pecans or walnuts in there and I'd be in total heaven. Hey, I have walnuts. I could break some up and shove them in there next time. Yum, man.
This morning I ran 45 minutes away to our bank to deposit some cash at our bank, which is now 45 minutes away since they closed our Kokomo branch. But moving all our accounts is more hassle than the rare occasion I have to go there in person. Mostly stuff is digital or online, but once in a blue moon I have to run up there.
I got Morgan and myself matching shirts, gave her hers today, for her birthday. Says "JUST DON'T DIE", which is kind of a joke with us. Fly in the ice, the wind, the storms, new airplanes, bad airspace, tailwheels, warbirds alone, did not die. And "allowed" to do whatever, just don't die. Seems dark, but it amuses us both. I put it in a pink box with wrapping paper and a hot pink bow on top, because she likes pink, and made it so all you could see was the "JUST DON'T DIE" when you opened it. I was pleased with myself.
Today I didn't feel like doing the 6 minute "sprint" walk, so I mixed it up and did a 20 minute treadmill walk instead. I bumped the speed up to 3.1, which is faster than I normally walk when I'm just walking on the treadmill, and got a little over a mile in in the 20 minutes. Felt like a good way to switch up things a bit. My left shoulder is still messed up, but I started working it extra hard yesterday, and it's more sore today but I think I can also move it more/further than I used to be able to, so I think that's good.
I got home and had a letter in my mailbox from the FAA. Always makes you blink, but in this case it was just my official letter and official medical. I already printed out the one they emailed me, so I've just got this one in the envelope on my desk for now.
I've been planning for tomorrow's trips. I'll have to be up at 5 am, taking the 340 to Delphi to pick up two guys, drop one off in Chicago, right off the end of O'Hare, take the 2nd guy to Minnesota, wait for him there, then reverse the trip. No idea when I'll get back home, but the weather shouldn't be bad, other than hard winds, probably a direct crosswind around 30 knots (again). I had to revise this trip 3 times, because the MN guy got his time wrong, which messed up the Chicago guy, and we had to switch airports twice. And so it goes.
We got the rudder back on BOB, and Steve had me climb in and test them out, make sure they felt the same, and moved the way they were supposed to. They did. It was nice sitting in there again. Hopefully I'll be test flying it next week.

Oura, I can promise you that whatever you think I'm doing, it's not housework. I swear I'm going to change my profile to "male" and see what it thinks I'm doing then.
