Nope

The guys didn't finish the kitchen today either, due to a problem with the transition pieces between carpet and flooring. But they got everything else done except for that and one more strip of caulking. We got the doors back on the closets, and we can start putting a lot of stuff back in the closets.

Because they were here making a lot of noise, I went next door to Kaylee's house around 11:15 with my laptop to get ready for my zoom call meeting at noon. I just had a feeling, and sure enough, at noon I didn't get a call. At 12:20 I left a message for the PA doc who set me up for this meeting, saying I hadn't heard from the other guy, whose number I didn't even have.  At 12:45 I called PA on the phone and said I hadn't heard from him and they said they'd reach out to him. At 1:30 they said they'd "tried to contact him and hopefully he would call me soon". At 2 pm I figured this probably wasn't happening, 2 hours after my appointment date. The guys had left my house, and I packed up my laptop and headed back to my own house. At 3 pm he calls me and says oops, he forgot, got busy, so sorry, can we do it tomorrow. I said yes, I can.

What I didn't say was that this is a big thing. I'm on edge all day. I'm not great at phone calls and I'm waiting all day to get a call, and when it comes in I have to be "on", sharp, ready to go with a very important thing. I hadn't eaten lunch, I couldn't really leave, I barely had time to go to the bathroom because I was waiting for the call at any moment. Living on the edge of your seat for hours is not great. And the whole thing was so unprofessional on his part. Now I get to start over, and wait until tomorrow, and then sit around and wait until 1 pm. I think he'll actually call this time. But what I was hoping would be over with by now, is, like everything else, not over with yet.
