Quick

I lost another stitch from my gum today, I think it's the last one. Kaylee looked in there and said it looks pretty good for what it is, so that's good. It still itches and aches a little, but it's getting better and less sensitive and I may actually be able to chew on that side of my mouth not too long from now. ;)

Kaylee got back this afternoon from her adventures at the Renaissance Fair with her friends. She had a good time, stayed at a B&B house with 8 of them, and other than one friend of a friend that she said was like Jamie except nice, enjoyed the people she hung out with too. Molly was SO happy to see her, that when she got back home, and walked out of the room, Molly went chasing after her meowing, didn't want her to leave again. So she spent some quality cuddle time with her cat this afternoon, before coming over to our house and having quality cuddle time with her Mom, too.

I've just started packing my bag for Vegas. We leave the house at 6:45 am, to be at the airport by 7:30, to be out of the hangar by 7:45, to be wheels up by 8 am. Stop in Pueblo for a bathroom break, leg stretch and fuel up, and then on to Vegas by 10:30 a.m. their time. From there on out, we're on our own until Saturday morning when we head for home early.

I've been on antibiotics since the oral surgery.  I was on antibiotics for 2 or 3 weeks straight, and then off, and then back on them for another week, and I ate yogurt every day and I was actually okay. Well, this time I didn't have any yogurt, and my system decided that it was not happy with the situation. It actually took me a couple of days to figure out what my problem was. So with 3 or 4 days left on this course, I got some Greek yogurt delivered yesterday, and finally today my digestive system has decided it's going to be okay again. I don't like taking antibiotics and I look forward to not doing it again soon.

I started the process of looking into getting a new helmet. Mine is 17 years old, believe it or not. Can't hear well in mine, I can't use it in any other T-6s, it's heavy, and was dropped, so I'm not sure about the structural integrity. I'm going to get a new lightweight one, one that has sound canceling and Bluetooth too. That's helped more than one warbird pilot make a phone call during an emergency or issue. I'm still going to keep the checkertail visor thing, but may get a black helmet instead of red. Maybe. I sent out an email to the helmet place to ask some questions on sizing, and...will go from there.

Is this adorable or what?!
