Well

I slept in this morning, was pretty nice. Steve had a meeting at 9 am so he was out of the house soon, and I was pretty productive, doing a few things I’d put off, including measuring myself and ordering a couple of full-length gowns to start trying to find something to wear to a black tie/formal wedding. I started with two dresses, and will see how the fit and how it goes, and adapt from there. If one of them could work, that would be marvelous, but if not I have a couple of sites to look at now to try to help. These first two dresses arrive in 6 days, so… *sigh*

Started my Flight Instructor renewal course today too. Gotta finish that off over the next couple months too.

Tonight Steve and I drove out to Ethan’s house to attend his son Tell’s graduation party. Tell was glad to see us there, and so were they. We stayed for several hours, talked to the folks we knew there, a lot of the guys I fly around. It was hot, but they have a beautiful back yard with tables, balloons, a hot and ready pizza truck (tasty) homemade cake and ice cream, etc. Good stuff.  I even dressed up and wore a dress shirt and khaki and put my hair up. The sleeves were too short on my shirt for my comfort, but otherwise it wasn’t bad.

Tomorrow is Florida in the Cheyenne.
