Memphis

Up at 5:30 am, out the door by 6:20 am, wheels off the ground in the MBros 340 by 7 am, headed to Olive Branch, Mississippi, for them to go into Memphis. I took the crew car and went to a little place called "Pink's Cafe", and it was in a neat downtown shop. Unfortunately, neither the coffee nor the food was very good, but at least the ambiance was. lol

I get back to the airport, and I go into the pilot's lounge. It's a fairly small room with a round table and four lazy-boy recliners, and a small bathroom off the side of it. I walk in, and it smells like poop. Someone had just taken a fresh, big, dump, and left, and I apparently just missed them because it was, did I mention, fresh. The whole room smells like it. I sit down in one of the lazy-boy chairs, and I'm like...dude...I have two problems. 1) I don't want to sit there and smell this one, it was a healthy one, and 2) I don't want to be left sitting there when someone else comes in and thinks *I* did it. So I left and sat out front for awhile until it dissipated. Bruh. That was nasty.

Flight was easy, 4.2 hours in nice weather, go around a couple cells, nothing major compared to what I've been going around, that's for sure.

When I got back, I started up the Cheyenne so they could check the oil when it was hot, and then went down to Greek's Pizzaria in Sheridan with the pilot group and had some excellent pizza. Home in time to get some things caught up again and get ready for the next few days.

Oh, and I went down below and added a couple days and photos too, finally catching up there too. :)
