Morgan and I took the Conquest out to Colorado with 4 guys working on Ethan's cabin. The autopilot came up, so I was happy for that. I flew everyone out, took over 4 hours. Morgan flew her and I home, took almost 3 hours. 7.5 hours total in the plane. When we got there, we took the courtesy car into town and went to the Tributary, a local coffee shop, and had coffee and breakfast. Came on back, headed right back out before the weather started tanking.
Got back to Frankfort, topped off the plane for my flight tomorrow, and Morgan and I went to Glenndale and flew the Citabria for over an hour. Windy, gusty, good day to play around. Well, she played, I just rode in the back and gave pointers for a wheel landing once. lol
I looked it up and I haven't instructed in regular airplanes since 2023 except for a few tailwheel things and warbird things. Isn't that kind of wild?
We met with Chuck and Morgan for dinner, got home, and now I'm pooped. Good day, just long. I'm going to go drink some more water, and try to prepare for tomorrow. I'm concerned about the storms tomorrow afternoon. I'm supposed to leave at 5 pm for NY, and the weather between here and NY isn't supposed to be great, so I'm hoping there's a way around it.
