The temps are dropping, it went from 60 degrees to 35 degrees in one day. Bleh!
Tomorrow Morgan and Cameron have a trip to FL in the Meridian, their first together, and the weather for the trip home isn't great if they run late. As in freezing rain. So they're leaving early enough to hopefully be able to beat it in. And she'll call me in between at ground stops if there's an issue. Always stressful when it's not nice, even more so when you're new to all this.
Thursday I head to Phoenix, Arizona with 5 guys from Andy's company for an overnight. It'll be 80 degrees and sunny. A long trip there, with bad headwinds. It'll take about 6 hours door to door to get there and I'm going to have to stop in Kansas for fuel. Coming home with those winds should be 3.5 hours non-stop. That's how strong the winds are. But once I get there, I have the rest of the day and most of the next to do whatever I desire. I like that.
These were voted as the most challenging tongue twisters. I amused myself by reading them out loud a couple times.
The winner was: "Pad kid poured curd pulled cod." I think it's the hardest because it makes no sense.
Runners up were:
1. If you must cross a course cross cow across a crowded cow crossing, cross the cross coarse cow across the crowded cow crossing carefully.
2. Brisk brave brigadiers brandished broad bright blades, blunderbusses and bludgeons, balancing them badly.
3. Near an ear, a nearer ear, a nearly eerie ear.
4. Rory the warrior and Roger the worrier were reared wrongly in a rural brewery.
5. A skunk sat on a stump and thunk the stump stunk, but the stump thunk the skunk stunk.
6. The thirty-three thieves thought that they thrilled the throne throughout Thursday.
7. When a doctor doctors a doctor, does the doctor doing the doctoring doctor as the doctor being doctored wants to be doctored or does the doctor doing the doctoring doctor as he wants to doctor?
