Hilton Head, Part Deux

Driving to Frankfort this morning happened in the dark. The full dark. It was night as I was driving to the airport at 7 am. Do you know how depressing that is? *I* know how depressing that is. I didn't see the sun until I took off and climbed up. It's only October and it's dark until 7:57 a.m.  Sucks.

I was alone on the way down to Hilton Head, with a rocking tailwind, didn't take long, like an hour and 45 minutes. Landed, paid their $250 landing fee (choke), loaded up with 7 people, and Ethan flew us home. 45 knot headwinds. Two hours and 15 minutes or so, gusty crosswinds.

Nothing much going on. Getting ready for the rest of the week. Tomorrow is a LifeLine flight from OH to Chicago for a cancer patient and maybe a run to Toledo to pick up logbooks for the Conquest.

Sunrise at takeoff
