Made It

I’m on my way to the T-6 forum this morning. But just wanted to say, I made it, it was completely easy and uneventful for an Oshkosh arrival IFR yesterday morning. Got settled in, watched the night airshow, had a good first day.

Back from the T-6 forum, and actually I’m well pleased with myself. I PEOPLED. I went to Warbirds and someone shouted “hi” at me from warbird ground control tower. Went to the forum and 5 or 6 folks stopped and talked, I had Morgan and Suzi with me so we ladies were representing T-6s. But it was a 100% maintenance forum, from Paul Redlich, and it wasn’t my jam, it was a maintenance thing. But I listened and tried to learn and at least got credit. I told Spencer he should go next year and he agrees.

Walked all around after that. Went down to Vintage and ran into Pete and the Browns, walked through Warbirds and saw Jeff L. at Gunfighter and talked to him, where he reinvited me tonight to the Burger Burn. I said I might not have a car, and he said he’d pick us up in his van with the Browns. I tried to let him go twice and not bother him, and he kept talking to me, so that was kind of nice. It was fun, I peopled and I ran into a lot of people and it was all pleasant and I was happy to see everyone.
