I did have PT this morning. I don't think I'm going to continue it after next week, the last one I have on the books. I saw someone else this morning, not the guy I originally had scheduled, whom I liked. The first half hour was spent with someone I didn't know who had me do my own exercises, some of them weren't as effective as the ones I already do at home on my own. Some were different. The second half was seeing an actual PT, who rubbed on my arm but didn't do the specific stretch that Rob did that actually helped a lot. I can do most of this myself at home, now that I know what I can or should or shouldn't do. I don't know why I ended up with someone else when I was scheduled with Rob, or what happened with the two ladies I saw today, but I wasn't quite as impressed today as I was before. And I don't need to pay $50/pop to pull on a pulley there when I have a pulley I can pull at home for free.
Spent a lot of today dealing with what's been a...communication issue, I guess, but an important problem that has an impact on my future, and today was a bit of a hit, a shot across a bow, a threat of sorts. I'm hoping it is an overcome-able one. It was discouraging on a couple levels. I have more issues to deal with, including some problems with the Air Power History Tour, manning the tour stops, scheduling, etc. One of our main pilots, Matt, dropped out because of a family health issue. Now I'M needing to drop out of one of my stops, for a scheduling issue. We are short on pilots to cover the tour stops, by a lot. Glenn has a new airline job and is swamped and wants someone else to take on the scheduling stuff. I don't know anyone else that can take that over. So we have a problem there, too...
Tomorrow is Stephen in the Aerostar to Decatur. Trying to run BOB if the weather cooperates. Trying to do Jerry's Flight Review if Nathan gets the Citabria paperwork back, so Jerry can do Young Eagles Rides in his airplane. His flight review has to be in his airplane per his insurance company. Dumb. Running back to Decatur to pick up Stephen. And the weather isn't supposed to be very nice now. Originally it looked good, but it lied, just like today was supposed to look bad but it lied and was fine.
Like I said.
Grr.
