Last night Kaylee calls me--she has a bad bout of vertigo and feels sick, has homework to do, and can't look at and type on her computer without getting super sick.  So she copied and pasted the series of questions to me, and Facetimed me.  I would read the question out loud to her, and then she would talk, answer the question, and I would dictate what she said back into an email to her.  I was a secretary last night for over an hour, typing up the answers to her questions as she said them.  It's a good thing I still type very quickly, because she would talk quickly getting on a roll answering the question. It felt oddly familiar again, from way back.  We finished up, and I sent her the answers to her questions, which she copied and pasted back into the form and sent off as completed homework.  She's lucky I had nothing better to do and like her.  ;)

A story from Cayman.  I went into a gas station to get some Mountain Dew. When I walked out, I realized my phone wasn't in my pocket, so I walked back in to look for it. Didn't see it, but two people asked me what I needed, I said I was looking for my phone. Didn't see it so I went back out to the car to check there.  Two people followed me outside, concerned, and wanting to help. A guy who was offering to call my phone in case someone took it into the bathroom, a lady who followed me out to help, etc.  When I finally found it, they were so relieved. They were total strangers who were super concerned about some random lady's problem.  That was the culture down there.  Super friendly and kind and helpful.

Our route home!

Nasty weather on the way home. Rain, storms, lightning, sleet, then snow.  Yay.

A note left to us by Kaylee in the fridge.

Sunset on the way home from Marco Island Saturday night.
