On the way there, the heater blower quit working, and smelled hot and funny, so I shut it down. We have to have the Environmental Control System on in the plane as it's linked to the pressurization, but the blower I was able to turn off at least, it just gets cold in there.
On the ground, it took them 45 minutes to get us gas and another 15 before we could get out of there. It made us miss the sunset from the air which was annoying since we were headed west and were looking forward to that. :p I had Morgan do it, from taxi and takeoff to landing back home. I did the radios. She hates talking on the radio. One of these times I'll make her do it again, but she's capable, she just doesn't like it, and this was the first time she's flown the plane, so...I gave her a break. ;) We flew home at 34,000', and it was cold for awhile, but...smooth.
First night landing, crosswind, and we were home, it felt like super late, and was only 7 pm.
Tomorrow is windy, rainy, low IFR, to Illinois in the 340. Yay.
NYC but you can't see the buildings very well
Moon and a Contrail off the left
