When Steve and I left to go to lunch, our neighbors across the street flagged us down to let us know that we had a water main line break. Sure enough, water was running down the street originating from in front of our house. :o So Steve called the water company while we went on to meet the others for lunch. When we got home, the water company guy was in front of our house. Fortunately the break is on THEIR side of the line and not ours, so we won't have to pay for all that water. But they aren't going to probably look into fixing it until Monday, so we've got running water going down our street non-stop for awhile. I'm just grateful it's not on our side causing us to have to pay for it, and I'm grateful that we still have water pressure at both our and Ann's house. Whew.
I'm excited, I finally have a schedule set up for the next week! For the first time in months, I know where and when I'm going to fly the corporate stuff. And I can plan and fill in a couple days. And I am probably going to get to run up to Oshkosh on the last Saturday, watch the Saturday night airshow, and then fly Nella the WASP T-6 back to Terre Haute on Sunday. Not much time to enjoy Oshkosh, but something.
I'll probably be taking Steve up there either Wednesday or Thursday. Then Cathy is coming Friday to help take care of Ann, and she'll be staying here because staying next door is too fraught with problems now.
Kaylee came home today, she'll be here until tomorrow. She hasn't heard anything final on the girl who is a problem being removed or not, but so far the girl is still there. I would think if they were going to move they'd have moved by now, so the longer she stays, the more likely she'll be staying. Which makes us all unhappy. The kid is a threat, she has hurt other adults, and makes threats. So yeah. This isn't a max security prison with trained guards. Get that kid out of the way of my kid's safety.
Anyway, we're all doing fine. I got some rest, I have a schedule, and I've billed out quite a bit of flight money this last week, so...all in all, I am doing all right. :)
