UnWind

It was a weird weather day. It was supposed to blow really hard--but it stayed light. Everything around us had 30 knot winds and we were at like 12.  The clouds were supposed to be low, and they stayed high enough. So Matt B was able to get his 4 hours of flying in on the Beech so he could be a rides pilot for the summer tour. And I got my flight in with Ana, practicing instrument approaches.  It was great.

Kaylee sent me a bunch more photos, the professional ones they had done pre-graduation.  They turned out great too. I don't know most of the people in the group photos, but I always enjoy pics of my girl.

I was to block off May 5-15th for the Conquest. That's been pushed back, and now the airplane won't be available until the 12th.  So I'm glad I didn't actually block myself off for that time frame.  But after the 12th gets tricky for me. I've got a trip to FL to pick up someone in the Cheyenne supposedly on the 12th.  I've then got a trip to N. Hampshire/Maine that is likely to happen the 15-17th.  Then the 18-21st I'll be in Illinois doing the TBM Avenger Gathering.  I have my Conquest checkout the 22-25th. Before my checkout I was supposed to build 10 hours flight time, but I don't think I'll have any time to do that.  I have one more guy to check out in the Beech before the summer tour, and then I don't know what my schedule will be...

Nothing new on Ann, or Steve, or Kaylee, or me, or the cat.  It's just...Tuesday.  Which is fine.  :)

On to the photos, should be almost the last of them, except the ones Steve took that he still hasn't gotten to me.  ;)
