Ooookay

The weather was bad, indeed, and this time it messed with my head.  My eyes were watering last night, so I expected to wake up with a headache. I didn't have it, but by noon, there it was, no stopping it from happening.  At the same time, I was meeting with the man from Ft. Wayne who is looking for the right T-6 to buy, and wants to have me fly around with him and his dad in it. He was a really nice guy, said his business was started with $0 and made $22 million last year.  He owns 6 Corvettes in his man cave, and still seems pretty nice.  Anyway, I took something for the headache, and it was gone in about 2 hours, at least. Tomorrow is Dave's birthday so he brought in fresh donuts, so that was my breakfast.

When I got back home, I started in on my work.  I fed Ann some chicken penne pasta with broccoli and a brownie, then hit the slideshow again. This time I was going back through all the performance data.  Whoever made our original slideshow had different numbers, which is odd since it's the same kinda plane. But I had to go back and redo a bunch of them. Takeoff distance, landing distance, fuel burn, all of it.  *sigh* Even the crosswind chart, I don't know where they got it from, but the ones in our books had vastly different numbers.  So I redid all that, which took several hours.  The C-45 quiz could use some changes but nothing is WRONG with it, so I'll probably leave it alone.  I found the file, I'll be printing off enough copies for all attendees, found the BT-13 quiz, will leave that alone for now, but I'm finally pretty well organized on those.  I think I'll be ready to give the presentation on Sunday.

I got my PT-26 quiz done yesterday, and my C-45 quiz done tonight.  All good.  Now I also have that 7 page C-340 quiz, and I have a large book that has the answers somewhere in it to go with it.  So I'll probably work on that tonight so I won't have to do it in Vegas. I'm at least halfway catching up here. I do still need to pack for Vegas as we leave first thing Monday and I'll be busy all day Sunday with CAF stuff. We're also going to one fancy restaurant, E is buying, and Kaylee bought a beautiful dress to wear. I'm not buying a new dress, but I do need to make sure I have a nice outfit from my closet that will work. I know I have the pants and shoes, just gotta check on a blouse.

Anyway. Back to work. I still have stuff to do.
