Lon & Cathy left this morning. Ann's been pretty confused, she wasn't sure who Cathy was for awhile and locked herself in her bathroom when she got disoriented. Then she got really nervous and clingy when they left. I can only imagine how confusing and scary life must be with dementia. Cathy said at one time Ann thought she had no family and was all alone, and she felt much better when she was told we live next door. *sigh*
Kaylee left a wallet in Vegas. Actually, the next guest in the room found the wallet under a pillow on the couch, where Kaylee had stuffed it out of fear of someone coming into and searching our room and stealing stuff while we were out. She stuffed things in various places to hide them. I said "Why not use the safe in the room?" and she said another family told her they charge you like $50 to do that. I said that's not been the case in any of the hotels I've stayed in, though I could see it happening somewhere, but...doubtful. I DIDN'T say, if you're going to stash stuff around, don't forget where you put it. Because I have left my wallet in a couple places too and not even for that good of a reason. So this pot won't be calling that kettle anything. ;) I was not worried about anyone coming into our suite and stealing stuff, however. Anyway, the next guests were honest and turned it in, and the hotel called E, whose name it was in, and he texted us, and Kaylee had to call and do a round-the-world questionnaire to get it back. Supposedly it is being mailed back to her. The good news is that she didn't have her driver's license, credit card, or much money in that part of the wallet, so she's not out anything important even if they don't get it back to her.
Steve's been trying to work this afternoon, first day back. The weather was too bad for any flights for me, so I've just been doing what I do when the weather is bad. Errands, housework and paperwork. Next up is feeding Ann, seeing her for the first time in 4 days and seeing what she thinks of that.
Me, Ethan, Kaylee, Steve. Behind Ethan is his brother Andy, behind me is Andy's son Neal, and behind Steve is Ethan's right hand guy Nick.
Going around a thunderstorm, pretty clouds, because I can.
Off in the distance is the city. I tried to take a picture on downwind but I was too busy to zoom in.

These were the snacks in the kitchen. Toffee, Cashews, his and hers vibrators, CBD sprays, water, you know, stuff like that. ;)

These two conventions were held there. One is for cops, military, gun salesman, ammo dealers, etc. The other for concrete. In Vegas. I feel pretty safe here. ;)
