Ann tested positive this morning. I called the doc office right away this morning, and when they didn't call me back, I called back again before they closed, and they said the doctor was waiting to review it. I know she's on various medications and they have to be careful what this stuff will interact with, but it's also important for her to get on a treatment asap if she can. So losing a whole day because they are slow doesn't make me happy. So far Ann just has a slightly runny nose and a small cough, but is acting okay. I hope the doctor does something before end of day tomorrow, or Ann will just be riding it out. Maybe she can't take Paxlovid with her current meds, I know you can't take statins with it and a list of other meds were "counter-indicated" too, but...tell us something soon. Time is wasting. For today she's okay.
Steve still just has a sore throat and sometimes cough. If he could kick the throat, he'd feel okay. I've been sitting at home for over a week now, and I'm ready to get out of here. I'll test tomorrow and see if I'm not 'positive' any more, even though I have symptoms, because I've been fever free for quite awhile and symptoms are at least not getting worse.
Kaylee is supposed to come home tomorrow, not sure what we're going to do with her.
