Last night we watched "Violent Night", and even Kaylee liked it. It was like "Die Hard" meets "Home Alone" with Santa. It was funny, action-packed, and different. We all enjoyed it.
I made biscuits and gravy for brunch this morning. Au gratin potatoes, lasagna and spaghetti for dinner. Odd combo I know, but it was at different times. I made the potatoes for Ann at 4, and Steve and Kaylee ate the rest of those. Then he got hungry still at 4:30, so I heated him up some lasagna, then Kaylee got hungry at 5:30, so I made us both spaghetti. The cat has been hungry and I've been feeding her about six times today so far. I took care of Ann the rest of the day after Steve had a traumatic morning with her involving a lot of poop everywhere. I've got a load of dishes just from today and normally several days go by before it's time for a load. Lots of eating today and stuff today. Steve doesn't feel like eating his normal stuff, he's in the mood for comfort food. So that's why I made mac & cheese, had broccoli cheddar soup, lasagna, biscuits and gravy, etc. Tomorrow I'm going to make a ham, potatoes, green beans, rolls. He'll enjoy all that.
I'm sort of tired, still coughing and a little congested, but...content enough.
Mmmm hmmm.
Kaylee painted this.
And this. She's giving both to Grandma Stants for Christmas
Sleepy Roadie.
I just tried taking a few shots of the tree
A little snow out the window
Our pretty lights in the back yard
Couldn't decide if I liked the brighter or darker version better.
The Gingerbread house Kaylee and I made
Gingerbread house, Dog & Bone
Kaylee ate the dog, I ate the bone next. ;)
