We slept in this morning, and then Steve made pancakes for brunch. Pancakes with chocolate chips for me and Kaylee, in fact.
We opened our family presents, talked, hung out.
I started dinner early because Ann eats dinner early, and had some pretty good ham, au gratin potatoes, cut green beans, and rolls. I was pretty pleased with everything, and the au gratin potatoes in the oven are much better than the ones in the microwave.
The three of us played a game of Balderdash, which is where you take words nobody knows and write fake definitions up of them, and then people have to guess which is the real definition vs who makes up the most plausible fake one. We had fun, and Steve won, which is funny, because of the three of us, he is the least "word" oriented person in the room. But he did good writing fake definitions and guessing both.
We watched "A Christmas Story" this afternoon, and I had Steve watch the first episode of "1883", which is a pretty amazing series. The cat is eating a bunch today, which is good, because she needs it, she's a tad bony. She's found a heater vent on the floor so Kaylee put a towel in front of it and she curls up on there and naps.
We didn't shower first so we didn't take pictures of each other, but we will another day.
