I had an instrument flight this morning in the RG, then flew the 172 to Wabash to pick up Morgan who was returning Herb's Champ back to its home.
I stayed up until 2 am out of solidarity with Steve, who stayed up until 7 am finishing up his CFI renewal. He got it done and submitted today and then was just hoping it was soon enough to get approved before the 31st, even though this is now a weekend. Fingers crossed for the old boy. The old guy who stayed up all night, slept from 7 am to 8:30 am, went to work all day, got home after 6 pm, and now is eating a late dinner. Hasn't slept in over a day straight, so when he crashes, he'll crash pretty hard.
Another busy week. Monday is supposed to be flying a T-6 at Anderson to test after a hydraulic lock is removed and spark plugs replaced. Wednesday is a trip to Tulsa, OK. Thursday is a trip to WI to do a little more training in the T-6 up there with an owner. Good stuff to stay busy on.
I don't think I posted my last round of Colorado pics.
