Catch-up Day

I took the cat to the vet first thing this morning. She hasn't gained weight really, and she still has the ear infection, even though she is acting and eating much better.  So I have an oral steroid to give her, ear drops for the infection I'm supposed to put in twice a day, and Vitamin B injections I'm supposed to give her once a week.  She's officially the neediest 'person' in the family at this point, considering I also have to feed her every few hours too.  But it was nice to have the negative vet lady who said she was 'pathetic and dying' see her again with smooth fur, bright eyes, and feeling good.  She still tried to be negative but she did have to admit she was surprised to see her here and she actually gave me the stuff to help her ears, stuff she didn't give me before because she assumed she'd be dead in a day or two.  Good for you Roadie, to prove her wrong, at least this long.

Next up I had a flight in the RG with Morgan doing her instrument rating. We worked on the ILS 23, ran through it three times.

From there I got active. I picked up the mail, stamped and dropped off some mail, stopped by the cleaning place and picked up some dry cleaning I'd dropped off. Went out to Glenndale to pick up packages. Sent MBros the receipts from the last trip. Deposited two checks. Cleaned out my purse. Did the house work--a laundry, dishes, trash, brought the trash bins back inside, ordered stuff we need off of Amazon.  Took care of Ann twice and the cat three times. Downloaded pictures, answered emails, set up my schedule with several people.  Just tried to catch up on a lot of the stuff I hadn't been able to do since I've been gone so much lately.

While I was out at Kokomo, I was looking at the weather, which is finally nice again for the next couple of days, and I have someone who wants to just fly for a short time tomorrow, which means a 40 minute drive for .3 flight time.  So the T-6 is still sitting there with the cowls off.  I put Mr. Bones up in the pilot seat, which is a little message, which was received. I went up flying after sitting him in the seat, and while I was still up, Spencer texted me and said it was done. Made me laugh.  Probably made him laugh too.  So tomorrow I'm going to take the T-6 up after I fly with this other student, and I'm going to take him with me, and go upside down, because he's never been upside down.  Looking forward to it.
