TN

It was the day to get my hair permed, so I did that from 9-11:30, then came home to check the weather because our cellphones are out of data, which is amazing considering how much data we have available. But our house internet has been problematic, and with Kaylee working from home mostly online, she's used her hot spot and our data all up halfway through the month, and we're now all throttled back. If we're not on wifi, the phones basically don't work for anything but making a good old fashioned call or text, and we have ten days to go before our data resets. Kaylee won't be working from home from now on, her remote job is over with, so we should be good to go from here on out.  But she's using over 30 GB of data in just a few weeks. Steve and I put together use approximately 6 GB on both our phones and iPads all combined.  Unreal.

The cat hasn't been eating again until today. I put out a plate, she ate it, I put another one out, she ate it, I did that the whole time I was here, and she's eaten like six plates of food. The last several days she's refused to eat anything and she was already thin and now VERY thin. So I keep feeding her if she'll keep eating it.  She gets so picky and stubborn, what she will eat for awhile suddenly she'll quit eating, and you can't find the next one she'll eat again until you're afraid she'll starve to death on you, and she'll leave a plate of food to rot and harden rather than eat it if she doesn't want it.  Stubborn, stubborn cat.

I drove an hour to Frankfort and got out Ethan's Cherokee Six, and flew to Nashville to pick up Ann. She was very confused and uncertain.  She went to the bathroom before we left, for an hour and 45 minute flight. When we landed, she had to go to the bathroom Right Now, and almost didn't make it.  An airport guy named Sean was there, the head of the company, and apparently he asked what I was doing down there, that they were having an aviation celebrity sighting.  Ha. After I took her to the restroom, I pushed away the plane and got everything out of it, and took her to Milky Way to get a strawberry shake, then on home.  Driving through Kokomo she asked if we'd ever driven through this town before, and I said yes, this is Kokomo, and you live in Kokomo. She said "Where do you live?" I said "Next door to you", and she had no idea.  Even when we got home, she mostly recognized her house, but then again didn't know that I was next door.  Weird, weird brain stuff.  I couldn't really get her in bed, so I eventually gave up and came next door. Her light went off at some point so I'm assuming she made it to bed.

Today was a 4 hour trip to TN, yesterday was a 6.5 hour trip to NE, the day before was a 2.5 hour trip from Oshkosh, and so on.  I've been racking up my hours lately.  ;)

I really do have too many photos, it's hard to process and put up the 'good' ones, and I haven't put any up since July 21st.  So...yikes.  I need a day of rain and storms and nothing else to do in order to try to catch up.  Right now it feels like too big of a job to even start!  Bleh. Here's from yesterday's trip to Nebraska

Gumby above it all

Flew right over my former stomping grounds' heads. Omaha, Council Bluffs. I waved.

My Oshkosh wristband still on, in the Aerostar.
