Note

I got a neat note in the mail. It's a little hard to read, so I'll put the photo here, but type out what it says.

This is from one of the days on one of the stops of the Air Power History Tour with me flying the WASP T-6.  It happened to be a Saturday in Toledo, Ohio.

Dear Laura,

Just a note to personally thank you for the AT-6 ride yesterday morning.  If you remember, I was your first ride for the day. I've ridden in my share of aircraft with radial engines, but the one "holdout" was the AT-6. I knew it was the closest thing I'd ever get to flying in a WWII fighter.  You satisfied that desire quite handedly, with a few ups and downs and tight corners thrown in. If I had access to a plane, and if you lived any closer, before the slow(?) fade, I'd ask you to consider teaching me how to fly.  Thanks for the memory.

Sincerely,
Roger Blackburn
