I spent much of yesterday pouting and agitated and perhaps moping at everything that isn't going smoothly right now. But I can only do that for a day max, so I woke up in a much better mood today.
Our instructor Jerry is still home taking care of his wife, so I flew with two of his guys today. The tailwheel guy, and we ended up at Glenndale flying right through the puddle in the middle and making a mess, and a 172 guy who needed currency in landings. Both went fine, and then I helped the 2nd guy with cross country ground stuff too.
It was dinner time so I ordered "Pastarrific" online, and then swung by there on my way home (it's right by our house basically), and we had some good Italian for dinner. I even got a little bit of lemon berry marscipone cake for dessert. Good stuff.
Tomorrow is an early one, I'll be up at 6, leaving the house by 7, doing some 340 flying with Ethan to three different sites where they're doing projects in three different states. It'll be a long day, but a good one.
Here's the mess I made on the Champ. Also the mains. And the tailwheel. And the elevator. It's a mess. Oops. ;)
