We took off at 9 am and went to Pickaway County, Ohio. We dropped off a guy, then hopped over to Sporty's, where the avionics shop there worked on two problems. Avionics and probes. Left there and picked up the guy back at Pickaway, and then back to Frankfort. There was no lunch, no food break, no vending machines, and I didn't eat until almost 3 pm, on top of already not feeling well. So I stopped at the "Milky Way", an ice cream and food place in Frankfort, and got a really good crispy chicken sandwich and fried mushrooms, snarfed it on the way home, and when I got here, I collapsed on the couch and passed out for over an hour. I haven't napped in the daytime in ages, but I was just out of gas.
I went next door, where Ann was telling me about all the people who were there. Later I did learn that Michelle and Lynn were there cleaning her house, so there were at least two, even if not a bunch. That made me feel a little better.
She'd also not gotten her soup for lunch, but instead ate every last cracker in her house. I've been buying crackers four boxes at a time, 16 sleeves of crackers, and she's going through them in days. But now I can't find salt-free crackers ANYWHERE. So tonight I tried, and Kroger says "sold out", Wal-Mart says "sold out". Meijer says a couple are available, so I place an order at Meijer. The shopper gets there and says there aren't any. The whole shelf is completely empty. She is willing to walk over to Wal-Mart, and there are...two packages there. She got them for me, paid out of her own pocket since I wasn't doing it online, and even asked them to check in the back and see if they had any more. They didn't, but still, I tipped her huge when she got here as a thank you for her efforts. We are going to ration the crackers and only give her one sleeve a day until the stores start restocking these, so she won't eat a whole box a day and then have none in two days.
Tomorrow we're supposed to do a kid's day for the school at the airport, but it's supposed to rain, which puts us all in the hangar, planes won't be able to come from Glenndale, kids will all be stuck indoors without much to look at. It would be easier if they rescheduled. I've also got two students that I'll have to see if the weather lets us go or not. From the way my sinuses feel, I'd guess weather is definitely moving in. ;)
