9 am, flew checkride prep in the 172 with A, who is not ready to go for the checkride, although it's currently scheduled for Thursday.
11 am, got in BOB and ran it up to see if the oil pressure problem was solved. Didn't seem to be.
Ran to lunch, came back, flew from 1-3 with M in the Champ, finishing off the last required tailwheel hours with a gusty crosswind.
3-5 flew with I in the 172, doing hood work, VOR tracking, unusual attitudes. Went well, though it started making her queasy by the end.
5-6 I grabbed dinner at Sonic and ate it at the school, where from 6-8:30 I had a school board meeting. We discussed whether or not to mandate a vaccine to be employed there. I was going to say I'd resign if they voted yes, out of principal. They did not vote yes.
Back to Kokomo, met with A again, and did a night dual cross country to Plymouth, with low ceilings, iffy visibility, and building weather off to the west. Got it done safely, talked to the tower on the way back (Grissom), and got done around 11:45 pm.
So now it's after midnight, everybody else went to bed, and I'm headed there too, beat.
Not a bad day, just a...full...one.
Ann seems to be doing well, Steve said.
Roadie went to the vet today with Kaylee because she was acting funny. Vet says she's dehydrated and has double ear yeast infections. Almost $400 later, she came home and I have a "follow-up appointment" in September. Sheesh.
