The Mondays

It was actually a fine day for a rainy, IFR Monday.

We had a cleaning crew that was supposed to come between 10-11.  Usually they're earlier, 8-9, but today they were going to be later.  Steve left for work, I stayed here to let them in and tell them not to mess with our sink or put any water/stuff down it.  The car arrived at 11:40 or so.  *sigh*  I hate tardy people.  And then it was only one person, not the usual two, so it took her longer to get everything done.

I took Ann to a well-check visit with her doctor just after lunch.  Her health is good, weight is stable, medication is stable, everything looks good there.  They did a memory test with her, too.  The doc did suggest a new medication to start her on that would slow the memory loss, won't stop it, or make it better, but would slow it.  So we'll probably look into doing that.

Afterwards I took Ann past Glenndale to see the memorial for the boys, and then we went to Culvers for a treat before coming home.  I noticed at Glenndale, the pole by the wires is gone now.  So, no more pole.

The house is clean, Ann is doing well, I got ice cream, so all in all it wasn't bad for a Monday.  Now we have to see if the draino stuff I picked up from Lowe's after lunch will finally fix our sink for good, or not.  Dun-duh-DUN...
