Travels

I didn't have anyone on the schedule somehow for today, which worked out well in the end.  The winds kicked up over 30 knots, it was a gusty one.  First thing this morning, I had Greg O. take 32L to Muncie, and Jerry take KS to Muncie, and I pulled out the Aerostar and picked them both up in Muncie.  Then I flew Greg back to Sheridan, and Jerry back to Kokomo.  With the 30 knot winds at a 70 degree crosswind at Sheridan's 50' runway,  Nathan texted, and we were heading to Illinois to pick up Jamie from school in Illinois.  Good timing, I landed, and about 30 minutes later we launched.  Got down to Carbondale, picked up Jamie, hit the bathroom, grabbed a Mt. Dew and Snickers for lunch, and came on back.  We were home by 1:30 pm. I ran to McDonald's to get a chicken sandwich and wait for the 172s to be done at Muncie so I could go get them.  Steve texted me that they weren't going to be done today after all, so I came on home.

Ann had gotten dizzy and lightheaded today, so I stopped over there a couple of times to check on her.

Then Steve and I went down to Breeze Inn for dinner with the pilot group, had a nice grilled chicken sandwich and good company.

On to Thursday.
