Life

I took a little something to help me sleep last night, and boy did it work.  I went to bed at midnight, FitBit says I woke up at 1 am briefly, and then I was out until 9 am.  Thank you Lord.  Oh that felt so good.  lol

Steve finished his CFI renewal today, due every two years.  He had a whole 2 days left after today to get it done, and in to them.  So we had to next day mail it to the place, because they require a minimum of 3 days before it's due if you do it online (like I normally do).  Hahaha.  Nothing like waiting to the last second, on something you do NOT want to let expire!

Ann is doing all right after the cataract removal.  We're working on convincing her to go back to her routine as normal, that nothing has to be different or changed.  Her vision is still a little blurry in that eye, we think, as it's going to be for a few days they said.  I'm over there four times a day putting the eye drops in, and that's going well so far.  One of them stings a little, the others don't at least.

Kaylee met us in Greentown today, and we all went in and voted.  Her first Presidential election.  :)  Ann wants to vote but didn't feel up for getting out today, so I'll probably try to take her soon, another day.  We tempted her with getting out and about with getting a hair cut.  She wants one of those badly.  :)

After we voted, Kaylee wanted some Chili's chips, so we came back to Kokomo and sat with her while she ate (we'd already eaten), and we just hung out a bit.  She may take a road trip to N. Carolina to visit her bestie, so Steve put on her new plates and put in her new auto protection program card, and had her stop at Mark's to get her oil and tire pressures checked.  So she should be good to go, should she go.

I went to the grocery store to pick up some basic food supplies for Ann, stopped at Panera to pick up some soup for her, stopped back at her house to deliver.  Steve and I went down to Breeze-Inn Pub to join about 10 other pilots for dinner down there.  Had a good time chatting and socializing, actually.

These days of COVID you tend to second-guess yourself.  I KNOW my sinuses have been bothering me.  I had two days of headaches when the temps and pressures dropped and it got wet and cold from warm and dry.  Yesterday my throat was scratchy and I was coughing. Also runny eyes.  I'm like...allergies.  Allergies?  Right? Allergies, yeah?  I took my temp a few times, all normal.  After 8 hours of sleep, I wake up, no coughing, no scratchy throat.  Yeah.  Allergies.  *sigh*

That's it for today.
