My alarm went off at 8 am, but I was awake before then. If I don't take the melatonin, I don't go to sleep as fast, nor stay asleep as well or as long. I don't want to take it every night if I don't have to get a good night's sleep, but boy, who doesn't want to get a good night's sleep if they can!?
The cats are having a *terrible* time with fleas. So Steve sprayed some stuff in the cracks of the wood, and on their bedding. Well, they hated it on their bedding, even though we couldn't even smell it, and they refused to sleep on it. For days they've been sleeping on the floor, or the lid of the litter box. So this morning I washed their beds again. One of them had a hole in it, and it exploded all over the washing machine. I threw that one away, set the others back on the deck, and within minutes, both cats were curled up and happy back in their beds.
At 9 am we had a group Skype "chat" to do the official PT-26 Groundschool for the CAF. It was a six hour program. We'd already done one hour previously, so we did five hours today. We took one break for 5 minutes, and one break for 20 minutes. At 2 pm we wrapped it up, and then Kaylee and I headed out to the airport to meet up with Steve, so he could go with us to help her tear apart her room and officially move out of Evans for the rest of the semester. We had to do it today. The next time she goes back to a college dorm it'll be August, five months from now. That seems like forever, for her, too. We gathered and packed up her stuff, tore down her lofted bed, swept the floor and wiped down the sink and such, and hauled it all out to the car. The mini refrigerator was the big item, and Steve hauled that out himself.
We stopped at Hydration Station and picked up a mini dinner (chicken salad sandwich for me), and then came back and went next door for a little while to say hi and Happy Birthday to Ann. Eighty-seven years young. :) I had gotten a strawberry shortcake that was just big enough for the four of us to split it. None of us needed to have a whole big cake to eat on, so we just enjoyed our piece. :) Ann has a bigger iPad now, where she can see texts and emails hopefully easier. I couldn't get Facebook to work on there, but the texts and emails should hopefully be easier to deal with.
After some time next door, we unpacked Kaylee's college stuff from the car and brought it inside. When that was cleared out, I took the tote that was usually in the back of her car and put it back. I think I may have pulled something with that last one, as my lower abdomen started hurting a little then, so I quit moving stuff around and plopped down on the couch for a bit here instead.
It was a busy day.
Dulce curled up and cute
Roadie all curled up.

Sweeping the floor, getting ready to walk out.
No world map on the wall, no lovely bedding, just one empty room.
