Otherwise, I haven't felt so great today. My digestion is all messed up, and I've felt weak and fatigued all day. Later in the day it occurred me that I hadn't taken my iron pills in a couple days, just forgot, and I've had four vials of blood drawn in what, 10 days? So I'm probably running anemic again. So I took it and ate a lot of iron rich foods today, and by this evening I AM feeling a little better. I didn't get my walking in today, but with how I felt I was lucky to get done what I did get done, so I count today as a "pass".
When I got back from the lab, I tried to take a nap. As soon as I started to drift off, my phone went off about 7 times in a row with people asking about our weekly Wednesday night dinner down at the Breeze-Inn. I never really got back to sleep, so I got up and dragged into lunch.
The winter storm was supposed to move into Kokomo after 2 pm. So Steve and I drove out to the airport, as the T-6 needed run up to check on two gauges before it goes down for annual. The guys pulled it out for me, and I preflighted, knowing myself. I fired it up, warmed it up, checked the gauges. But then there's the rule. If you've got it out, and running...you have to at least take it around the patch. I have never flown a T-6 in January, let alone February. So I took off, circled around, came in and landed, one rather nice landing, in fact. It was the best I'd felt all day, and I didn't feel like landing. Or staying down. But I behaved.
Steve and I went to the sweatshirt place after that, where he spent a half hour trying to fix everything they'd messed up on our order that they were months behind on finishing.
From there I went home, and I was done. Out of stamina. Kaylee texted and wanted to meet up in Marion for dinner and to talk, but I was out of gas, so Steve drove over to be with her by himself. A little Dad/Daughter time is good. :)
Kaylee has some weird thing with her eye, where it was sore, and now it's red underneath, looks like blood. The eye doc says it looks benign, and we'll keep an eye on it (groan). She thinks she coughed too hard recently and popped a blood vessel or something.
A super cool burnt wood American flag on the wall at the Gun Dealership place.

My trip around today about 30 minutes before the snow started flying.

Me not feeling good but still feeling spunky after flying the T-6, because it does that to a person. ;)
Jon Tharp took this of me landing today.
